Under some circumstances, items may be missing from the various menus in the system. This is most often caused by the browser's failure to properly "refresh" a particular webpage that you have previously viewed. This module will describe resolving this problem using the Internet Explorer(IE) and Firefox browsers. The most common instance of this is where the Maintain Your ECF Account entry is missing from the Utilities Menu. The correct menu list should be:

To get this "missing" option back:
NOTE: It is critical that you not be on the Utilities menu when perform this process!
If using Internet Explorer (IE):

From the gray menu bar near the top of the screen, click on Tools,

Click on the Internet Options item on the Tools menu,

On the Internet Options box, click on the Delete Files... button - the exact wording and location of this button differs depending upon the version of IE that you are using. Do not select an option to Delete Cookies if offered.

Click OK in the Delete Files box asking if you wish to delete the temporary files.
Note: If it has been awhile since you last did this, or if this is the first time, it could take many seconds for this process to complete. While the deleting proceeds, your mouse pointer will be the shape of an hourglass.
- Click on OK in the Internet Options box to close the box.
You should now be able to click on the Utilities hyperlink and Maintain Your ECF Account show be there!!
If using Mozilla Firefox:

On the gray menu bar near the top of the screen, click on Tools,

On the Tools Menu, click on the Options item,

In the Options dialog box, click on the Advanced tab at the top,
then the Network tab a little below that.
Note: You should have a cache size/space be at least 200MB.

Click on OK in the button to end the process.
You should now be able to click on the Utilities hyperlink and Maintain Your ECF Account show be there!!
