The following is a detailed discussion of the steps involved in uploading a plan.
STEP 1 Click the Bankruptcy hyperlink on the CM/ECF main menu bar. (See Figure 1.)

STEP 2 The Bankruptcy Events screen displays. (See Figure 2.)

- Click on the Plan hyperlink.
STEP 3 The Case Number prompt screen displays. (See Figure 3.)

- If a case number displays, verify that it is the correct number.
- If no case number displays, enter the case number in YY-NNNNN format.
- Click the [Next] button to continue.
STEP 4 The Event List screen displays. (See Figure 4.)

- Since it is initially visible, click on the Chapter 13 Plan entry to get it displayed in the Selected Events box.
- Note the system tells you the plan is still due at this filing. This helps insure you are on the correct case.
- Click on the [Next] button to continue.
STEP 5 The Joint filing with other attorney(s) screen displays. (See Figure 5.)

- As before, we leave the box unchecked.
- Click on the Next button to continue.
STEP 6 The Select the Party screen is displayed. (See Figure 6.)

- Select the debtors.
- Click on the Next button to continue.
STEP 7 The Select the pdf file screen displays. (See Figure 7.)

- Note the reference to the March 18, 2008 version of Plan Form that is required.
- Use the Browse button to identify the pdf file containing the plan.

STEP 8 The Enter plan date screen is displayed. (See Figure 8.)

- Enter the plan date in the MM/DD/YYYY format.
- Click on the Next button to continue.
STEP 9 The Modify Docket Text screen is displayed.

- Review this draft of the docket text. Use your Browser's BACK button to return to any previous screen to correct or add needed text.
- No prefix or enhancement needed.
- Click on the Next button to continue.
STEP 10 The Final Docket Text screen is displayed. (See Figure 10.)

- Again, review the text to insure completeness and corrrectness.
- Click on the Next button to complete the filing.
STEP 11 The Notice of Electronic Filing (NEF) is displayed. (See Figure 11.)

- The NEF is the verification that the filing has been sent electronically to the court’s database. It certifies that the answer has been submitted by this defendant.
- Clicking on the case number hyperlink will display the docket report for this case.
- Clicking on the document number hyperlink will display the PDF image of the document just filed.
- To print a copy of this notice, click the browser [Print] icon or button.
