Browser Problems

There can be instances where the system appears not to work! These instances basically can range from actions that worked even a few minutes earlier to missing menu items to getting strange system error messages. While I cannot say with complete certainty what is causing the problem, there is a series of steps that can eliminate (or cure) various causes and only after these actions, would one need contact the Court for assistance.

Steps to try prior to contact the Court:

  1. First, try accessing a general website, such as www.yahoo.com, to insure your internet connection is valid. If you cannot access such a general website, then there is a problem with your internet connection - either a problem with your machine or with your connection or provider (ISP). Once the problem is solved, then try again.

  2. Logout of CM/ECF and Exit or Close your browser program. Then restart your browser and try again. If still experiencing the problem, then

  3. Clear your browser's cache (temporary internet files) after logging out of the system. (See the Maintain Your ECF Account for details on clearing cache) Then log back in and try again. If still experiencing the problem, then

  4. After exiting your browser, restart your computer and then try again.

If all of the above steps fail, then contact the Court for us to assist with further problem resolution.
